Different companies have different deadlines. Awareness of these dates ensures that you don’t miss out on easy money.

Standard match request submission deadlines include:

  • A set number of months after the date of the donation, most often 3-12 months.

  • End of January, February, or March in the year subsequent to when the donation was made.

How To Request A Matching Gift

Here’s the basic process you will need to follow in order to submit a corporate matching gift request and have it fulfilled by your employer:

  1. The donor sends in their donation or completes it online.

  2. The donor then contacts their employer and requests matching gift program guidelines.

  3. Usually an employer will provide the donor with a form to fill out. Employers may require a receipt and a copy of the Foundations 5013c letter. If you have not received a receipt please email us.

  4. Once processed and approved, the company makes a matching donation to the Foundation!
